Terms of sale

1. Who you are dealing with

Legitkit is operated by Bulent Kay, sole trader, ABN 30 779 077 297, Melbourne, Victoria (we, us). These terms apply to every purchase made on this site. By paying you accept them.

2. What you are buying

A licence to use a document template, filled in with the details you provide, for your own business. You get the generated PDF and Word files and the right to regenerate the document with new details for 12 months from purchase. You may not resell, republish or distribute the template or the generated document as a template to others.

3. Not legal advice

We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. The documents are general templates written for the ordinary run of Australian small businesses. They may not suit your circumstances. You are responsible for deciding whether a document is right for your use and for getting advice from a lawyer where your situation calls for it.

4. Price and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. We do not see or store your card details. A tax invoice is emailed after payment.

5. Refunds

If a document does not do what its page says it does, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we refund it in full. Because the document is delivered digitally and filled in with your details, we do not refund for a change of mind after the document has been generated. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Updates

When we release a new version of a document you bought in the last 12 months, we email you and make the new version available at no charge. Whether to adopt it is your call.

7. Your details

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter. We do not check them. Our privacy policy explains how we store them.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a document is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for loss arising from how a document is used, from a change in the law after the version date shown on the document, or from details you entered.

9. Disputes and law

If something goes wrong, email us first and we will try to sort it within 10 business days. These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
